What we keep, and why
If you only read one thing
You can read letters, learn what to say and call the helpline without giving us anything. We never sell your details or share them for advertising.
When you get the free guide
We keep your email (and your name if you give it), the date, and whether you downloaded the guide. We use it to send the guide, new versions of it, and news about StigmaClear training and community. Every email has a way to stop them.
When you write a letter
We keep what you wrote, the topic and the place you chose. We do not ask for your name or email. To stop spam we keep a scrambled code made from your internet address, not the address itself. A person reads every letter before anyone else sees it. Letters are shown without your name.
When you read letters
We count how often a letter is opened and how people answer “It helped / Not for me / This felt heavy”. Letters you keep are saved only on your own phone.
Where it lives
The site and its small database run on Cloudflare. Only the StigmaClear team can see sign-ups and letters waiting for review.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). Reply to any StigmaClear email and we will help.
Not a medical service
StigmaClear is education and support, not medical treatment. If you need to talk now, call the Mental Health Authority helpline free on 0800 678 678. In danger right now? Call 112.
